It began in Issue 35 of Weekly Shonen Magazine, released on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 (Wednesday), in issue No. 35 of Weekly Shonen Magazine, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the original *FAIRY TAIL* series. This marks Hiro Mashima’s first time in about two years drawing the main *FAIRY TAIL* story for Weekly Shonen Magazine.

Volume 1 of the collected edition will be released by Kodansha on Friday, October 16, 2026. Both the standard edition and the special edition will be released on the same day, but only the special edition includes a bonus postcard.
