The official app for CollaboCafe.com, “CollaboCafe.com: Latest News on Your Favorite Artists ,” has been updated.
When you register your favorite works as “favorites,” you’ll receive push notifications with the latest information on collaboration cafes, pop-up stores, merchandise, and raffles related to those works. You can also post comments on articles and connect with other fans who share your favorites.
What You Can Do with the CollaboCafe.com Official App
Register your “favorite” and receive the latest updates via push notifications
If you register your favorite works as “Favorites,” you’ll receive push notifications whenever new information about those works is released. You’ll never miss out on news about your favorites, including collaboration cafes, pop-up stores, limited-time merchandise, and exhibitions. You’ll also receive notifications when events begin or are about to end.
You can mark over 2,000 titles—including anime, manga, games, and characters—as your “Favorites.” You can turn notifications on or off for each title individually, and you can also reorder your registered favorites.
If you can’t find the work featuring your favorite to register, a feature that lets you request “Please add this work” via the app is scheduled to be added soon.
You can also look back on all your favorite’s past events in one place
For works you’ve marked as your favorites, you can view a consolidated list of not only upcoming events but also information on past collaboration cafes, pop-up stores, and merchandise.
Since information flows constantly on social media, it can be quite difficult to track down events from a little while ago. With the app, you can instantly look back at past collaborations just by opening your favorite artist’s page. It’s also convenient for looking back on things like, “What was on the menu at the last collaboration café?” or “What merchandise was available back then?”
Manage Your Schedule with the “Want to Go” List and Calendar
If you add events you’re interested in to “Want to Go,” they’ll appear on the app’s calendar during their event period. You can also add them to your smartphone’s calendar with a single tap. For events with release dates or application deadlines, you’ll receive reminders the day before and on the day of the event.
You can log events you’ve attended under “Went,” and look back on them by event or by month.
Chat with fellow fans using “Exactly!” and replies
Feel free to leave comments at the bottom of each article—whether it’s your thoughts on an event, a “I went!” update, or a discussion about merchandise. No login is required, and you can post anonymously.
- You can click “Exactly!” on comments you agree with
- You can reply to other comments using “>>number”
- When your comment receives an “Exactly!” or a reply, you’ll be notified via a notification and a badge
- You can view and delete all your posted comments at once from “My Comments” in the menu
You can also report posts that concern you or set your account to hide posts from specific users. Before using the service, please review the Posting Guidelines.
Various ways to search, with merchandise available right there
You can search for events by title, category (collaboration cafes, pop-up stores, original artwork exhibitions, merchandise, raffles, etc.), area, or keyword. If there is official merchandise related to an article, it will be displayed within the article, and you can check the details directly on Anime Store.JP.
Supports Japanese, English, and Chinese
In addition to Japanese, the app supports English and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional). It can also be used by visitors to Japan from overseas.
Upcoming Updates
We plan to continue adding features to the app.
- Ability to create topics (threads) : Users will be able to create their own topics on topics they’re interested in—such as their favorite character’s birthday or anime episode air dates—so everyone can discuss them together.
- Request to Add Favorite Works: If you can’t find a work you want to register, you’ll be able to request its addition directly from the app
- Submit Information: If you find information not yet listed on Collaboration Cafe.com, you’ll be able to notify the editorial department directly from the app
