Kyoto Tango Railway (Tantei) and Sanrio’s “Cinnamoroll” have announced a collaboration event titled “A Gentle, Lulling Stroll Through Marine Kyoto”!
From November 1, 2026, to January 31, 2027, a variety of events will take place along the Tan-Tetsu line, including the operation of the specially wrapped “Cinnamoroll: A Gentle, Lulling Stroll Train,” the sale of one-day passes with special perks, and a digital stamp rally.
・The event runs from Sunday, November 1, 2026, to Sunday, January 31, 2027
・A specially wrapped train will operate on the Miyama and Miyatoyo Lines (Nishi-Maizuru Station to Toyooka Station)
・The “Cinnamoroll: A Gentle, Lulling Stroll—Tantei Pass,” a one-day pass with special perks, costs 2,000 yen for adults and 1,000 yen for children
・There will also be a digital stamp rally, coaster giveaways, sales of original merchandise, and display panels
Details of “A Gentle Stroll Through ‘Kyoto by the Sea’”
A special event featuring an original design depicting Cinnamoroll—who loves to fly—and his friends taking a “floating and swaying” stroll through the tourist attractions of the “Marine Kyoto” area in northern Kyoto Prefecture will be held at various locations along the Tan-Tetsu Line.
Another highlight is the chance to enjoy a journey through “Marine Kyoto” alongside Cinnamoroll by riding the specially wrapped train!
The “Cinnamoroll: A Gentle, Lulling Stroll Train” wrapped train
The sides of the train car are divided into the “Kyoto by the Sea Zone” and the “Tango Legends Zone,” showcasing the charms of the route and the stories passed down in Tango through the world of Cinnamoroll!
The interior is also decorated with Cinnamoroll designs.
