On board the Tokaido Shinkansen, passengers can enjoy exclusive voice clips and take a classroom-style certification exam, while in Osaka City, they can participate in a digital stamp rally featuring voice clips from members of the Survey Corps.

The second collaboration between JR Tokai’s “Oshi-Tabi” and the TV anime *Attack on Titan*, titled “Osaka Survey Operation,” will run from October 8 to December 21, 2026. This project follows the first collaboration in 2025, “High-Speed Rail Survey Operation” .

The special website features a prologue that begins with a note discovered after the 57th Wall Expedition. Prompted by this note, Erwin appoints Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Levi, and Hanji as members of a top-secret investigation team to survey the “Osaka” district beyond the Walls .

By riding the Tokaido Shinkansen and completing a speed measurement and questionnaire on the dedicated website, you can access content exclusive to the train.

Shinkansen Onboard-Exclusive Prologue Voice Clips

These are newly recorded voice clips exclusive to the Tokaido Shinkansen, featuring Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Levi, Erwin, and Hanji as they travel to Osaka.

Theory Certification Exam

You’ll be presented with 10 randomly selected quiz questions testing your knowledge of the Survey Corps. You can take the quiz as many times as you like during the ride, but questions may repeat.

If you answer all 10 questions correctly, you’ll randomly receive one digital certificate featuring either Eren or Levi, and you’ll also hear a “Congratulations!” voice clip. There are a total of four voice clips available—one featuring Eren and one featuring Levi for each of the first and second halves of the event period.

* You can obtain the digital certificate and voice message only once per day. * The digital certificate and voice message will be for the same character. * You will not receive duplicate digital certificates until you have collected both types. * Once obtained, you can listen to the voice message until December 21. * Limited to one account per person. *Access is available only when riding the Tokaido Shinkansen and the location-based system detects that the train is traveling at a certain speed. *There are some sections where access is not available, such as between Tokyo Station and Shin-Yokohama Station.

Attack on Titan Shinkansen Ride Bonus for “Oshi-Tabi: Osaka Investigation Operation”

Participate in the onboard content and obtain proof of Shinkansen travel to redeem a set of four Cheki-style cards featuring original illustrations. The contents vary depending on the redemption date: Card Set 1 is available from October 8 to November 12, and Card Set 2 is available from November 13 to December 21.

The redemption location is the Kiddyland Osaka Umeda Store. Present a screenshot of your Shinkansen boarding pass to a staff member to claim your prize.

*The boarding pass is valid until 11:59 PM on the day after it was issued. However, on the final day, December 21, it is valid only on that day. *The promotional item varies depending on the redemption date, not the date the boarding pass was obtained. *A boarding pass can be obtained only once per day; obtaining a new one will invalidate any previous boarding passes. * Redemption is limited to once per person per day, and redemption by a proxy is not permitted. * Screenshots will not be accepted as proof. * The promotion ends when all benefits are exhausted. * Resale or transfer of benefits is prohibited.
