Chinatsu is wrapped in a cream-colored coat, leaning back against the snow. A faint blush tints her cheeks, and her gaze is fixed directly at the viewer.
Snowflakes swirl in the background, and the entire image takes on a pale blue hue. While the Season 1 teaser visual featured a blue reminiscent of gymnasium lighting, this one has a color palette that seems to capture the very essence of winter air.

In her comments, aiko reflects on her student days, saying that school and her own room were her entire world. She explains that every moment she remembers—from laughing with friends over trivial things to writing letters at night only to throw them away the next day—remains a cherished part of her even now as an adult.
She also revealed that the song feels like a reflection of both her past and present selves, and that it was only after becoming an adult that she was able to put those feelings into words. She concluded her comment by expressing her hope that this song will play in the hearts of Daiki and Chinatsu as well.
Ending Theme: Elsewhere Kikou “blue in”
The ending theme has been decided as “blue in” by Elsewhere Kikō, a group garnering attention both domestically and internationally. The label is TOY’S FACTORY.

This isn’t the first time Elsewhere Kikou has been involved with the anime *Ao no Hako*. Vocalist/guitarist So Anno first sang for the anime in Episode 24 of the second half of Season 1, performing the insert song “Koi-iro.” His participation came about through an offer from Takashi Omama, who was in charge of the series’ music.
In her comments, she writes that she still remembers the exhilarating yet bittersweet feeling she had on the day it was decided they would write an original ending theme as a two-piece band—something she could never have imagined at the time.
She says she created the song by cherishing the work’s sincere longing, the pain and tenderness of facing things head-on without looking away, and the indescribable fluctuations of emotion.
